Dr. Jarrod Maslin is a Doctor of Physical Therapy, a Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist, a Certified Athletic Trainer and a Certified Functional Movement and Y-Balance Specialist. He specializes in rehabilitation of non-operative and post-operative orthopedic and sports injuries of the shoulder, knee, hip, elbow, ankle, & spine, and focuses on enhancing the performance for the injured athlete.
He has immersed himself in his professional training and he possesses a depth and breadth of skill to help you achieve your rehabilitation goals for your musculoskeletal injury and return to your active lifestyle, whether it is scoring that goal, running that 10K, dropping that golf index, hiking your favorite trail, or tending to your garden. Dr. Maslin is proficient in Pre-participation and Return-to-participation Screening for athletes of all ages and levels of skill.
As an athlete in high school, Dr. Maslin experienced his fair share of injuries. After experiencing a recurrent hamstring injury, his team athletic trainer referred him to a physical therapist who, within minutes, identified the cause of his problem and then subsequently helped him resolve it. He was hooked on rehabilitation.
I love meeting new clients and learning about what makes them unique. There is no greater feeling than returning my patients to the activities they love. To date, Dr. Maslin has traveled to twelve different countries and continues to explore the world when he is away from the clinic. In his downtime, between trips to the far corners of the world, Jarrod loves to work out, watch sports, and spend time with his family. A fan of our hometown SF Giants, 49ers, and Sharks, you will also find him cheering on the Lakers, Kings, Manchester United, and Hawthorn (Australian rules football).
Dr. Maslin is from the Sacramento, CA region where he was a three sport varsity and academic letterman, including an All-League honor in soccer. At the University of Evansville, he served as chapter President of Sigma Phi Epsilon.
